Kokedamas are fun to make and can last years. Kokedama is Japanese for “moss ball” and is a unique and funky style of displaying plants without the pot.
This traditional Japanese art involves wrapping a plant’s roots in a ball of soil and wrapped with moss and twine to create a living planter that can then be suspended in a macrame hanger or displayed on timber base or saucer. In this workshop, you will create two Kokedamas to take home using a selection of indoor house plants.
Our Kokedama workshops run for 2 hours. You will learn how to make a Kokedama, how to care for them and which plants to choose. Not only are these plants fun and easy to create but they’re also super easy to care for!
